How Much Does It Cost to Develop a Good iPhone Application like Twitterrific?

Craig Hockenberry, who’s somewhat knowledgeable on the subject, sets the record straight.

Squnch’s Diacarta

I don’t know how realistic it would be to use this on a daily basis, but that UI design is absolutely gorgeous.

I was wondering what would fill the void in my viewing schedule left by the departure of LOST.  Although the videos are nearly a year old, there’s still a treasure trove of information to be gained from them.

MobileMe has been updated to offer at least some functionality when accessing the me.com page from Mobile Safari. It doesn’t yet offer full access to MobileMe’s features via the browser, but it does allow access to the “Find My iPhone” feature from an iPhone or iPod touch.

MobileMe gets slightly more compatible with Mobile Safari

Another one for the “it’s about time” category.  Frankly, I’m surprised Apple hasn’t released released an app specifically for this feature yet.

Today, I ran across an article on the iPhone that was rather the opposite. I completely agreed with the headline and the basic underlying premise. Yet, I found myself scoffing (and sometimes giggling) at the rather ludicrous assertions sprinkled throughout what had promised to be a very reasonable and interesting article.

Other reports say Apple has placed an order with Omnivision Technologies for 5 megapixel camera sensors. The current 3.2 megapixel Apple currently offers is looking a bit stale in light of 5 MP chips on some of the newer Android phones.

Rumor: Will Apple add a camera flash to the iPhone?

A flash would be a great addition.

Hey TUAW, the offhand remark stating the iPhone camera is “stale” because it has fewer megapixles is unwarranted. Nearly all iPhone 3GS reviews consider its auto-focus camera to be the best you can get in a mobile phone.

Higher megapixels do not a better image make.
